Hello and Welcome to Alex Gordias Photography’s Blog. Being Boston Wedding Photographers we are always open to travel. This post is about our journey to Block Island, RL and Spring House Hotel Wedding Photos of Brittany and Brendan.
The wedding was on the 28th of August 2021, and it was a windy but quite perfect day – comfortable cloudy temperature and with the fresh breeze. It was great to photograph this couple in front of the Atlantic Ocean. The Bridal party was huge – we enjoyed everyone’s style, especially the bridesmaid dresses and captured a lot of the photos, especially individual pictures with everyone.
The Spring House Hotel is located in Block Island, Rhode Island, we took the ferry to get there for about 50 minutes. This charming hotel offers its guests a unique experience nestled in the heart of this beautiful island. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1852 and is one of the oldest continually operating hotels in America.
The bride was stunning, with her hair styled and the wedding dress. The groom looked handsome in his classic black tuxedo.
The spring house hotel wedding ceremony took place on the front lawn of the Spring House Hotel. After that, it was time for a bridal party and cocktail hour photos, we worked with the second photographer and it was easy to manage two different locations at the same time. After that, we headed to the wedding reception. The colors of the flowers are arrangements with blue hydrangeas in addition to roses that looked sunning. We captured so many details.
