Hi there! In the midst of a beautiful Massachusetts summer, I, as a local Cape Cod Wedding Photographer, am excited to share my latest Provincetown Dunes Engagement session. Ever since my first visit to the Cape, I’ve been dreaming of conducting a photo shoot in the dunes, eagerly waiting for a couple interested in this extraordinary locale.
We had been planning this photoshoot since the early spring, and I’m thrilled we chose to do it in mid-summer. The weather was perfect, making our hour-plus walk through the Sand Dunes a delightful and scenic experience.
Did you know that coastal dunes constitute about one-third of the Cape Cod National Seashore? It’s one of the most stunning areas in Cape Cod. These dunes started forming post-glacially, with sand from the beaches carried by currents and winds inland. The Province Lands Trail winds through forests and dunes, leading to public beaches, and the Province Lands Visitor Center offers insights into the area’s history and a great vantage point to view the dunes. It’s easy to find on a map if you’re planning a Cape Cod visit. I highly recommend a trip to Provincetown to explore the Sand Dunes – it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
Enjoy the photos:
