Hi! You are reading my Cape Cod wedding and family photographer’s blog. It’s time for Wellesley College‘s family photo session!
I just wrapped up a super fun family photo session at Wellesley College, and I’ve got to say, it’s one of my most enjoyable shoots! I had the opportunity to work with a wonderful family and meet their young daughter, Sivan. Her name intrigued me and I found out it’s actually a month in the Hebrew calendar – how cool is that? It’s now one of my favorite names, just like their photo session has become one of my favorites.
Wellesley College is such a fantastic spot for these shoots. It’s perfect for leisurely strolls and snapping photos, thanks to its historic buildings, serene ponds, white-walled houses, and gorgeous gardens. Another spot I adore in Wellesley is the ELM Bank – it’s a dream for any photographer, whether you’re shooting weddings, families, or friends. Being a family photographer in the Greater Boston and Cape Cod area is such a blast.
Capturing the right mood, especially with kids, can sometimes be a bit of a playful challenge, but that’s what makes it fun, right? What I loved most about this session? Everything just flowed naturally – no need for tricks or waiting. The 1.5-hour session was filled with laughter, posing, walking, and even a game of hide and seek.
And, oh, the colors in the photos! Part of my job is finding just the right color balance for each session, and I’m still in awe of how naturally soft and vibrant the colors turned out in these. Enjoy Wellesley College Family Session
